Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5+ years experience Strong IT skills
• Xero proficiency preferred Experience in compliance work for individuals and businesses Advanced working knowledge of GST, Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements 
• High level of competency and confidence in presenting to clients and other stakeholders. 
• Bachelors degree in Commerce/Business (Accounting preferred) 
• CA or CPA qualified (or working towards).

Our Need

• Manage and administer a portfolio of clients
• Review client tax returns and accounts
• Project manage the workflow of the client throughout the firm
• Interpret and communicate tax office correspondence and procedures to clients
• Manage key client relationships
• Identify and solve client problems

Leadership

• Supervise a team of accountants with varied levels of experience and technical knowledge
• Manage workflows for an assigned team, including ensuring work is completed on time
• Providing development and learning to junior staff
• Identify areas of improvement across the firm including processes and efficiencies
